You can use featured posts widgets to display a Recent/Category/Tag/PostIds based posts. These posts can be displayed according to Number of Post Likes/Number of Post Views/Number of Comments/Published Date/Modified Date or random order.
Go to your “WordPress Dashboard” -> “Appearance” -> “Customize” -> “Theme Options” -> “Custom Widgets”. Use the options given to activate each custom widget.
After activating widgets, go to your WordPress Dashboard -> Appearance -> Widgets.
Drag and drop these widgets to suitable widget areas.
